Note: Users are responsible for ensuring they have proper authorization and consent (including parental consent for children under 13) before uploading student information to the Service.

Users are responsible for obtaining parental consent. Ministry Pulse provides tools for ministry leaders to manage student information, but users (ministry leaders) are solely responsible for:

  • Complying with all COPPA requirements

7.2 Information Collected from Children

When users upload student information to the Service, the following information may be collected about children:

  • Engagement data

We only collect this information when users (ministry leaders) upload it to the Service. We do not directly collect information from children.

We use children's information solely for the purpose of providing the Service to ministry leaders, including:

  • Event planning and attendance
  • AI/ML processing for conversation logging (Pulse Intelligence)
  • Communication tools

7.4 Third-Party Disclosure

We may share children's information with service providers necessary to operate the Service, including:

  • Supabase (data storage)
  • Anthropic (AI/ML processing)
  • Twilio (SMS communications, with user authorization)

We do NOT sell children's information to third parties.

  • Deletion: Request deletion of their child's personal information

  • Respond to parental requests regarding their child's information
  • Comply with all COPPA requirements

Ministry Pulse is not responsible for user violations of COPPA. Users indemnify Ministry Pulse for any claims arising from user violations of COPPA or other privacy laws.
